Hey, folks!
I just want to rant a little about people who drive too fast or weave in and out of traffic and have bumper stickers that say, "Honk if you love Jesus!" It happened to me recently on a country road, only the bumper sticker said, "Jesus or Hell" or something like that - the car was moving a little too fast to get a good read. It's a good thing it wasn't "Honk if you love Jesus!" because I was free to honk without being misunderstood.
Anyway, it left me thinking about what kind of a witness a Christian gives to the world when the world is left eating dust. I almost wanted to kill the guy (or gal - remember, the car was really moving).
And then my son piped up from the back seat, "Dad, how fast are you going?" Hmmm... You know, some cars just have this tendency to creep, particularly when one is fuming about cars driving too fast?
My children and I were wearing seat belts, by the way.
But, I'm wondering if anyone out there has ever had the experience of getting caught in one's own judgment? It reminds me of a guy named David, I guess. Did you change the habit, change the judgment, or something else?
